While implant placement has increased, dentists still face in their daily practice a very common problem, the decision making in restoring endodontically treated teeth (ETT).
Different clinical options can be carried on, from simple composite restoration to a full crown, using a fiber post, or using an Inlay Onlay. Recently the concept of endocrown has been introduced to dentistry representing an alternative to full crown along with CAD/CAM technology.
The restoration of endo treated teeth has different objectives such as mechanical, esthetic, functional, and biological.
The choice of the restoration and the material are made according to different criteria ; type and position of the tooth, remaining tooth structure, patient habits and hygiene, etc…..
Through different cases using the most recent materials, a step by step clinical procedure will be defined in order to achieve successful long term restorations.
